PPP copy right not copy wrong

Liz Wells:
Title - description - main image
intro
image
more detail about the project

Pentagram:
Title
1 or 2 sentence intro
Open with a strong image
'pull-quote' quotes a block of text
Very image-based
Pentagram communicates largely with the general public as a way of documenting their work so its almost laid out like an online publication with easy bitesize information - a link at the bottom takes you to the full-text article.

Rita Matos:
a very visual website with large display images that then take you to more detailed project pages that still only really feature rationale and more large images.

Roberta Donatini:
Text always alongside images which exist in a manual slideshow - useful for people wanting to be able to read whilst looking through the entire project - very static but practical

Task:
write a copy page/layout in one of these styles:
1)Intro > Design Challenges > Design Solutions
2)What is the project? > How does it work? > Why does it work?
3)Context > Client expectations > Design process > Challenges > Measures of success

F.M. Helm is a versatile typeface, inspired by the renaissance eras movement from Calligraphic strokes to mechanical type. Named after the Frog-Mouth Helm a Germanic jousting helmet used throughout the era. Displayed alongside an Albrecht Dürer painting and range of derivative symbols.

The transition from the medieval era to renaissance represents a huge cultural and artistic jump that has been metaphorically described as humanities movement from darkness into light. Absence of previous wars, famine and pandemics coupled with a renewed emphasis for the arts and philosophy allowed for widespread technological advances. One advance, paramount to the success of the era was the invention of the Gutenburg press, revolutionising the way we communicate and marking the beginning of a typographic relationship between the hand and machine. These evident humanist characteristics harmonise with the consistency of machined type throughout the characters of F.M. Helm. Helm sits in equilibrium between the elegant display and legible body, a fusion of eras, perfectly embodied by its name and motif the Germanic jousting helmet. An incredibly elegant form of armour used not in battle but instead for recreation, displaying the sophistication of the era whilst paying homage to its deadly lineage.
